Maybe Someday, by Colleen Hoover
Admittedly, I’ve already read this one. Twice. Most recently over the last two days. Hoover just slays me with every book of hers that I read. Her words are poetic and, at times, soul crushing. Ridge and Sydney have to be two of my favorite characters ever. Hoover captures their angst so realistically that you feel it in your bones. Their first kiss may be my favorite first kiss in literary history. You should definitely check it out.
Amber to Ashes, by Gail McHugh
Literally just started this one. It’s the first book in McHugh’s Torn Hearts series. This one’s a love triangle
“They were as opposite as fire and ice, yet I ached for them equally.”
I honestly don’t know if this one will end up as a threesome or the lucky heroine having to choose between two smoking hot guys.
Hidden Bodies, by Caroline Kepnes
Joe is back! I am a lucky duck as I’ve got an ARC of Kepnes’ latest book. Looks like Joe has met is match…
The Elements of Style, by William Shrunk Jr. and E. B. White
According to Charles Osgood “…still a little book, small enough and important enough to carry in your pocket, as I carry mine.” I’m constantly trying to improve my grammar and writing skills, so this looked like a keeper.
