I’ve learned the hard way how difficult it is to maintain two blogs, while reading at least two books at a time, trying to review books read, and…yeah go to work. The good news for me is come June I’ll be a full-time blogger/reviewer as I take a break from the classroom setting. I’m super excited to have the opportunity to focus on so many great indie authors and their books. Here’s a short list of what’s coming up in the next couple of months.

How often do two people have a second chance to get it right?

Elise made a hasty decision to run, taking nothing with her but her new husband and Brandon’s old guitar. Neither thought their paths would cross again until Elise was forced to move back into town four years later minus a husband or any career prospects.
Will they allow old mistakes to keep them apart or will they finally set aside their differences and pride to find a way back to each other?

He soon finds himself cursed by her angry, pagan priestess mother, and is now doomed to sit out an endless existence as a stone gargoyle…his body as cold and devoid of love as the heart that beat inside his once-human chest.
Awakening only once every fifty years for one month’s time, and after searching to no avail for the cure that will break the seemingly unbreakable spell, he’s grown content to spend his short time as a man enjoying all the marvels and hedonistic pleasures the modern world has to offer; first in his native Europe, and then in America where he’d settled to sit out the long decades atop an old church.
The year is 2011 and upon Awakening, Samson soon meets Willow Dalton…a smart, pretty nurse who works in the children’s ward of a local hospital. As love warms his heart, and he discovers a mysterious side-effect of his condition; one that may hold the key to his freedom and may also cause him to lose her forever, he is now in a race against time…determined to stay at her side, and daring to hope that after five centuries he will finally find a way to break the curse before next full moon rises and he’s turned from man to stone once more.

6. Secrets of the Elusive Lover by Mike Wells
Every woman knows an Adam. He’s a “player,” the type who professes true love, but with eyes that never stop wandering. He always has the perfect excuse when you find that long strand of blonde hair stuck to his collar, and fidgets whenever you get near his computer. Adam can’t fool Bethany, who, despite her better judgment, falls head over heels for him. Bethany is far more intelligent and strong-willed than Adam bargains for, and he finds himself smitten, too. Hilarious at times and poignant at others, Secrets of the Elusive Lover explores the age old challenge of obtaining the unattainable man, and the paradoxical issues surrounding monogamous relationships.
7. First There Wasn’t, Then There Was by Troy Blackford
Four young men have noticed a peculiar man wandering around the streets downtown where they work, muttering to himself with a trashbag slung over his shoulder. After one of them hatches a plan to capture the strange old man’s words, the group quickly realize that the fellow has seen and done things that defy the imagination.
A metaphysical tale of action and adventure that takes you beyond the bounds of normal human experience and into a world of secret colors and hidden doorways, of uncoiling panthers and recoiling nailguns, ‘First There Wasn’t, Then There Was’ is a novella unlike any other.
